Grüns Superfoods Greens Gummies

Grüns, known for their premium superfoods greens gummies, needed a bold rebrand to stand out in a crowded market.

Working together, we reimagined their brand identity with a new logotype and mascot, Barry, who adds personality and charm. The upgraded packaging amplifies Grüns' essence with a look that’s both striking and inviting. Barry takes center stage, creating a memorable focal point that connects with the gummy bear form factor.

We introduced a cropped logo style for a confident, abundant feel, complemented by warm colors and approachable typography for a friendly, cohesive design.

Dr. Squatch Soap Co.

I helped Dr. Squatch Soap Co. rebrand its quirky, grassroots identity into a refined, scalable brand while preserving its rugged charm. The updated packaging blends clean, rustic layouts, bold colors, and custom scent icons, creating a cohesive look across the product line.

The design remains true to their personality but elevates it with a more polished, modern feel. Even in limited edition releases and collaborations like Star Wars, the core identity of Dr. Squatch shines through, with a clean, premium collectible aesthetic.

Studio Gunboy

Studio Gunboy is a content creator that focuses on Bandai Gundam Plastic Models, with the goal to create a polished, informative, and satisfying brand experience.

The brand taps into nostalgia of 90’s video games and anime culture. The name “Gunboy” is inspired by the original name of the iconic Gundam anime series, while also drawing influence from retro handheld gaming devices. The logo, designed with pixel art, forms a 3D cartridge shape and further evokes a sense of nostalgia for the golden age of gaming. This combination results in a brand identity that feels both familiar and inviting to fans of classic pop culture.

Prop & Peller Pretzels

Prop & Peller was growing fast, landing spots in Whole Foods and on QVC, but needed a brand refresh to match its success. I updated their look, focusing on refining their logo to make it scalable and adding highlights, like their signature pretzel.

With bold visuals, custom illustrations, and unique patterns, the new identity adds consistency and energy to the brand. It strikes the perfect balance between professional and approachable, making sure their delicious pretzels are always the star of the show.

Harvest Snaps Kids

Calbee, one of Japan's leading snack makers, is expanding their healthy snack line, Harvest Snaps, into the kids' market with a new range of sugar-free, freeze-dried treats. They needed a brand that felt playful and fresh, without sacrificing the fun of snacking.

I extended the Harvest Snaps logo to create a "Kids" sub-brand, using a simple hand-built treehouse sign to evoke a fun adventurous feeling. To build the setting more, I illustrated a landscape for each flavor, showing its tree or vine, and added a cute character for each snack. The result? A fun, tasty, and kid-friendly snack line that’s both healthy and inviting.

Gloo

Gloo, an organization that helps religious communities connect, needed a brand refresh to keep up with their growth. I started by refining their logotype to create a more cohesive look and designed a custom display font for added consistency.

From there, I developed a full rebrand, creating everything from print materials to environmental designs. The result? A clean, polished identity that perfectly reflects Gloo's mission of clarity while making the brand more approachable and engaging for both internal teams and clients.

Willow Home

Willow is a home concierge service that helps homeowners manage their real estate needs by connecting them with trusted, vetted vendors and offering expert advice every step of the way.

I teamed up with founder Nick to develop a unique brand identity and website that sets Willow apart from competitors like Angie's List. We aimed for a polished yet friendly aesthetic that resonates with their audience, offering homeowners a seamless, personalized experience for all their home service needs.

Anthrolitics Institute

Anthrolitics Institute needed a brand that would resonate with its audience and reflect the vision of its founder, Khalid. Focused on executive coaching and training, the brand had to evoke a sense of depth and human connection.

The solution centered on the Ouroboros symbol, representing the endless pursuit of knowledge, paired with a logotype symbolizing growth and refinement. Combining the classic GT Super and modern GT America fonts, the design balances tradition with a contemporary edge, while the calm, subdued color palette gives the brand a professional yet inviting presence.

Creative Writings by Zack Thoutt

Zack, inspired by a visit to The Cloisters, pursued creative writing and needed a platform to share his work. I designed a logo based on traditional calligraphy and created a custom font rooted in blackletter styles. I also developed seasonal chapter headers and a templated system for long-format works to ensure on-brand visuals and typography. The website was redesigned to emulate a physical reading experience with intuitive navigation.
